Dan's POV
"Dan, can you bring the book “Before I go to sleep”from the shelf, please?" Jooha begged.
He made his eyes bigger and did this cute little pout. Sometimes he is so cute, I just can't handle saying no to him. He is a year younger than me, although we are studying in the same year. I can help myself by babying him.
"Why don't you get it yourself?"I asked.
"Please, I am too lazy to get it. And I am tired."
"Tired?From just sitting down here?"
We were in our university's library, that's the place where we usually go after school to finish our projects and assignments. We began our second year here already, but it still feels like I am new here, because I still can't recognize half of the people here.
The university is so big, of course since the tuition fees are so expensive. It's really hard to get into this Uni, both Jooha and I had to work our asses off to get in. We entered in on scholarship. I still remember those days in high school.
I am so happy we are in the same uni although we have different courses, so we are not always together.
"Fine, I'll get it" I sighed, I could feel him grinning.
The library was huge, I am not sure, how I am supposed to find a book there, even though I did look it up in the library catalogue on my laptop. I guess I am just wrong with directions. It felt like a maze, walking around the main campus library, I finally found the aisle and the author's section. I spent a minute roaming my eyes around the bookshelf.

"Found it!"
It was a bit high, so I had to tiptoe to get the book. I straightened my whole arm to reach the top, but still, I couldn't get it. I am not even that short.
"Need help? Pretty boy."A deep sexy voice whispered in English, behind the top of my head. The accent and his voice made my ears turn warm, my heartbeat was getting faster.
I could feel the warmth behind my back, and I could smell the scent of his perfume, woody with a little bit of essence of musk, it wasn't too strong but it had a calm and soothing scent which made me want to fall and faint into the arms of the stranger.
Get together, Dan.
He took out the book with ease and gave it to me.
"Thanks!" I turned around and found that I was directly staring at the guy's chest, which was bulky indeed. I looked up to see an extremely handsome face, he had strong piercing eyes, a very well-sculptured face, had sharp jawline and a beautiful nose, he was no less than a Greek god. He could be a pretty famous idol or actor with that face. He looked quite intimidating.
I realised I was staring at him for too long. But his face felt quite familiar...I have seen him somewhere before...where could it have been. He leaned closer, I stared in awe at his plump kissable lips. The gap was too small between us, anybody walking could think of us differently, but I was too busy staring at him to acknowledge that.
"I know I am handsome, but you stepped on my foot." He smirked, I blushed and immediately took a step back bumping my head onto the bookshelf. He chuckled in amusem*nt.
"Ow, I am sorry" Why am I so clumsy, I stepped on him and also bumped my head to the bookshelf.
Gosh, this is so embarrassing, I should leave immediately, I was about to leave, but my foot tripped, making us both fall to the ground.
The next moment, I realised my lips were on his cheek, my hands were on his hard chest, and he was lying on the floor. I was sitting on top of him. I left my lipgloss stained on his cheek.
Well, Potato bought it for my birthday last year and told me my lips were always chapped. Since then I have been always using light pink lipstick or lipgloss. His big hands were supporting my waist, which made me think of a very lewd position. I could feel his bulge under my butt cheeks. I better leave before I get more turned on.
" I AM SORRY, I didn't mean to ....I...I am sorry..."
"It's fine, sweetheart."He chuckled while looking up at me. My face heated up even more.
Thankfully there was no one else around and we didn't drop any books from the bookshelf.
Before he could say anything, I picked up the book on the floor and ran back to my best friend.
"What took you so long?" Jooha asked.
"Can we go home?"
I started packing my bag quickly.
"I already borrowed this book for you."
"Why in such a hurry? By the way, why are you blushing? And your ears are so red. Did something happen-"He smirked at me.
"Nothing, let's just go!"I said and pulled him away from the library.
"I am sure something must have happened, I have never seen you blush like this before," Jooha said while we were waiting at the bus stop.
"Gosh please don't remind me!"
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing!"
It's not like I will see him again anyways.

Jooha and I always have been together since primary school, we grew up together, so we know each other really to the point that we are siblings. My parents passed away when I was very young.
My grandmother was the only family I had, she took care of me with her small tteokbokki business. We weren't rich but comfortable enough to have a place to sleep, and food to eat. However, my grandma passed away a year before graduating from high school. Of course, I was devasted, but thankfully Jooha's mom always treated me like her son.
I lived with his family. I didn't want to be a burden on her, as a single mother of two children, she had to take care of a third one. She has a seafood restaurant business. Jooha and I would help in her restaurant when we had free time.
After graduating from high school, we moved to the main city area in Seoul. And we moved into a cheap apartment together because it was cheaper for us that way to split the rent. We both do part-time jobs to pay off our rent and support our basic needs.
His younger brother Potato also lives with us. Jooha's mother was sad when she heard about us moving to the main city but still supported us because she wanted to see us both graduate with degrees.

As usual, we arrived home in 20 minutes by bus.
We ate dinner together with Potato. Jooha insisted on making food tonight. Usually, we take turns to make food or we would just order takeout.
After eating a heavy dinner together, I jumped on my bed after showering, it was such a tiring and long day.
I still can't get over that guy's good-looking face and my awkward encounter in the library.
I felt like I had seen him somewhere before....where could it be ...
